The Birmingham Zoo is home to more than 700 wild animals, from sea lions to pythons to gorillas. Its interactive aviary offers visitors the chance to feed lorikeets or allow parrots to land on their arms. The zoo also provides guests the opportunity to feed giraffes, ride an animal carousel and splash in fountains. It is located inside Lane Park, directly southwest of the Country Club of Birmingham.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $12; Children (2-12) and Seniors (65+) $7.
